Backstage beauty: Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2014-2015
The tone of Dolce & Gabbana's show was clear from its title, Enchanted Sicily, and the collection was shown in a fairytale land full of color and folklore imagery. Pat McGrath emphasized the theme with a Sophia Loren and Monica Belluci-esque beauty look fit for an enchanted wonderland, illuminating models' skin with a dewy glow and a fine flick of black eyeliner. As for hair, Guido Palau's soft chignon conjured images of fairytale princesses, adding to the magical atmosphere.
